Sick sick sick

Gonna tap into the 2nd week of my job. My 1st week at work has been torturous. Not that the job scope is difficult but that my health has been affecting my work indirectly. I am still learning how to use the banking system and job is so far quite alright. I am down with gastro problems and it has caused me to lose my appetite and so for those past few days, i did not really take my meals. I was so hungry yet I cant absorb any food. The sight and smell of food instantly make me feel nausea. Sounds like pregnant huh? Well, my doctor told me it sounds so much when she is pregnant. Haha.. Well, is my gastric that caused me to feel this way and making me feel headache and giddy too. Gonna see a specialist 2 weeks later for further analysis. Hopefully is not something serious.

After taking doctor's prescription, i feel much better now. At least I do not feel like puking when the food is right in front of me. I have to take care of my gastric from now onwards.

It always feels so wonderful to have your loved ones around you to give you that extra support and concern whenever you feel low or ill. Yes! I have that luxury to have many of them around me. No matter how busy my parents and grandma are, they always willing to go to that extra mile such as cooking something appetising for me during this period or bringing me to see doctor. I really appreciate their effort a lot! My dearest darling has also been so caring towards me and even his mum has made this papaya soup (beneficial for gastric) for me. I feel so fortunate to have them around. Of course, to my friends that do care for me too. Thanks so much!

Tomorrow will be another working day for me. Weekends passed so fast and I have to wake up damn early tomorrow. I have not get used to it. Arghhh! Depressing manz.. I hope that time will path out the depressing phase for me.

My First Job

Finally i have settled down with something that i am interested and hope that this will be the one that i really like.

Yes! I found a job and will be starting work on Mon. This is an US offshore bank. I will be working on a project and thereafter will resume my position as fund accountant. Although the name is termed accountant, it will not be the exact job scope of what an accountant will do. I heard that i will be dealing with FX, cash and trade. I will see how it goes. Well, this is a contract job and the manager who interviewed me has showed much interest in converting me to permanent staff in the near future. This job requires me to work long hours according to what the manager told me but we have a schedule to follow so some may stay and some may not stay to that late. Take turns lor... haha..

Meanwhile, i have another 2 companies which i like, asking me for more information. Why must things always happen this way? Contract signed then other opportunities start coming at one go.. Wah piangz..

Anyway, i need to revamp my wardrobe. Most of them are casuals. I need more working wears from now onwards. Haha.. More clothings to come!! Not only that, i think i need a new wardrobe. Umm.. maybe those mobile one. No space to place another new cupboard in my room too. Basically, my clothings are really so compact that i need to squeeze in between clothings to hang my new ones. I don't think my clothings a lot le.. Must be my wardrobe too small la.. If only i got those super big walk-in wardrobe! Pls wake up! Haha.. Well, just a thought..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!

Hi Everyone, it has been a long long time since i last wrote. Finally get to pen down my thoughts again. Woow! Back in sg to celebrate its birthday after like so many years later...

Im back in my home country and i guess it will be for good. It has been a long route for me in order to complete my studies. A tough one i must say. Sometimes i feel that if i will to just process my Australian PR, how will things change? Can i really stay there for 3 yrs? Well, thats really a tricky one. I have gone through the worst there and of course lots of wonderful memories but somehow, weighing out the pros and cons, sg may still be the one.

Upon graduation, its time to face the cruel reality and back to a world of office politics. I have sent out my resumes to those companies which i am more interested. The first company that i went for interview is Citibank and i applied to two departments within it. One of the department supervisor interviewed me and i find her quite stern-looking and i thought this may be her look afterall. It does not really bother me. In the end, i was offered a position there. Everything seems so good but who knows, she has an attitude problem. Well, i gave this a miss after some consideration. Not just because of her but i find that this position is not what i am after for too.

So that means i have to wait patiently for those companies that i am interested now.

Health has not been really good after I came back. Now taking this chance to recuperate at home.

Got new gadgets. My new Nokia 6280 which is much better than my previous LG phone. A piece of advice to those who wants to get LG, please think twice!

Panasonic lumix fx-01 is indeed a good camera. I love it to bits. I have started aiming this digicam when my canon failed to perform. This precious is a gift from Gary and to think he bought it in my favourite colour too. Such a sweet move from him. I feel so wonderful when i know that there is someone who knows me inside out. Thanks so much darling!

A few days back, i drove this Toyota Camry on the road. Just around my neighbourhood area. My first time driving on sg roads. It was such a big car. Really excited driving it. Luckily my dad was beside to guide me. But if only this is a smaller car, i will drive it with much confidence. A great experience!

Happy Birthday Lincoln!!

Just celebrated Lincoln's birthday yesterday night at 12 midnight. Dylan managed to find an excuse to get him to open the door for us but it failed. The reason he gives is so obvious that we are going to throw him a mini birthday celebration.. Hahaha.. He told Lincoln that his internet cannot work and needs to work on Lincoln's Pc when Sean's msn is on. So obvious!! hahah.. Well, he meant well afterall.. :P

Woke up v early this morning and 6 hrs straight of lessons. Phew!! 3 more weeks before the start of my final exams. Cannot believe that time flies so fast and i have not study yet. Arghhh!! Can die ah.. 4 subjects to study.

After got back my accounting theory and issues mid term paper on last tue, finally i can set my mind down. I was actually v happy and after my class, i went to City with Dylan to change my flight as well as SHOPPING!! That was a quick shopping though because i do not to drag poor Dylan down with me as i am a shopping freak and i'm afraid that he may get really bored.. hahha..

Got myself a blusher from Benefit counter. Actually Jemay recommended me this blusher and i had been thinking about it for ages before deciding to give it a try.Told her about it and she was telling me "so long ah". Haha.. i think she cannot believe i can hold my lemmings for so long!!

2 days later, went shopping with Ally. Had actually booked a mini makeover session with Benefit. Somehow this is a product introduction session and i feel obliged to buy their products as i find that the sales gal a bit forceful like that. Well, i bought the brow set and eye enhancer after little consideration.

Hopped over to Mac which is just next to it. Then saw this pretty sexy sales gal. Gorgeous i must say! She looks like a model. SOmehow my eyes kept looking into her deep-set eyes. Don't be mistaken hor.. Im not lesbian here. Just that she has those eye lashes that resembles barbie dolls.. So curled and long lashes she has there! Then my next question is which mascara are you using? Wahaha.. Bought that mascara and a concealer that can conceal my dark circles and at the same time, i returned the previous Benefit eye enhancer and got back my money feeling that this product is not that fabulous after all. Shopped and shopped. Bought a top from Dotti, dress and belt from Portman.. Whahaha.. so happy!! It was afterall sales that day so got so many stuff at quite a reasonable price.

Finally get a real shopping day after hiding in my little room for so long.

Trying to study hard

Have quite a bit of fun last week.
Edwina (Fel's sis) came over for holidays for about 10 days. She is such an amiable person. A very fun-loving gal. That week that she came over was also her birthday. We gave a surprise at midnight by switching off the main power supply and boy, she was watching her dvd upstairs. Following we heard footsteps running down the stairs and tadah, sang her birthday song upon her appearance with her cheesecake and well-blown balloons on the floor. Woow.. Hee.. Surprise!

P.S. Don't be taken aback by my pale look in the pic (on top), too lazy to put on makeup that day. Whahaha..

The next night, she treated us to Fuji (a Japanese restaurant) along Vic Park and i really recommend the food there. It was really awesome and somemore affordable. For those who want to go try, a piece of reminder, reserve before you go because it is a small restaurant and it may get really crowded during dinner time. Upon reaching there, i made myself a little joke out there but i won't say it out.. haha.. because it is really embarrassing.

The following day was my Accounting Theory & Issues Mid term Exam and yes, its finally over. Phew! Still don't know how i will fare for this paper. Roe (our lecturer) was telling us we must get at least 70% for this paper because he feels that it was really an easy paper but well i also hope i can get that mark la because i know the final paper will be damn tough. It is on consolidation!! Killing topics!!

Straight after the exam, went to Fremantle & Garden City with Wina and Fel. Shopping time! Bought sunnies and a top and continue to shop the next day in Harbour Town after dimsum and bought myself a pant. Hee..

Sun was also James's 21st Birthday celebration. He invited me to this chinese restaurant and hey, i thought it resembles a wedding banquet because everyone is formally seated down waiting for the dishes to be served. We kept on teasing James that where is his bride. Well, he is really young la. 21 yrs old and this June will be walking away with his Masters cert. Such a brillant guy!

Finally, i sold my car. Very sad. Felt a little handicapped without my car around. Thats my 1st car so far. Hopefully the new owner will take good care of it.

Final exams in a mth time and i have yet to really study.. Have to really push myself now. Thats all! Enjoy the pics..

Today is Sunday and its 6pm now.. Time really flies. Big Brother is screening on tv soon.

Had a fabulous steamboat buffet dinner on Friday night and 7 of us went for it. The food was pretty alright. We had the clear chicken soup and spicy ma la soup base. This spicy one is beyond drinkable condition. Its too oily and spicy of course. I don't know is it supposed to be like that or it is not up to my standard. Choices of food was quite ok but well, i don't take seafood so lots of stuff i did not touch it. I know is very wasted as it costs each person (student price) $29. In addition, i do not have much appetite that day as i just recovered not long ago.

2 more days before our 2nd anniversary. If only he is here, we can celebrate together but guess this has to be belated.

Im getting myself prepared for this coming sat's exam that is worth 55%. Getting kind of stressed out as it is a heavy weighted paper. Hopefully nothing will go wrong.. Praying hard!

No words can describe my feelings right now. Nobody understands how i feel. They will just say "don't be silly la." Ask me to take it easy and time will fly pass. Of course i know all these. It is the internal emotions of mine which is causing all these shits!! I knew this 2 months plus will be living hell for me. Not only boring, i have to go thru those shitty subjects and exams! I just pray hard that all these will bypass me as soon as possible. I just want to get back sg fast and see him again. Not to mention him, I miss everyone back in sg too, my family and my buddies. They are the ones who always been so supportive towards me.

Im also very glad that i have a group of precious friends back here in perth. They are willing to lend me a listening ear especially the Gochean people. Thanks guys! i really appreciate your thoughts, time and patience with me. I have never feel such negative emotions in me so i may need time to really get through all these and especially when it is exam time, i may feel even worse. Call me dependent or reliance or whatever, i am learning hard and stand up by myself so pls do not say nasty stuff to my ears again.

I have just get through both mid term papers last week and those are the worst papers i ever took. Just hopping that the results will turn out to be fine.

I will update my blog as often as i could. Sorry about the MIA for quite sometime.
